Peace & Serenity
Is the urban lifestyle right for you?
Living alone is something many of us will do in life, whether it's after high school or after college, it's inevitable. Perhaps you are debating whether you should move to the city or not.
There are several factors to take into account when venturing into this new aspect of life, naturally. To help you come to your decision, here are some questions that may provide some insight into what you should do.
- What kind of budget can you live off of, adequately?
- How much space do you need to live comfortably?
- Do you want to live on your own, or do you prefer to have roommates?
- Can you handle friendly and not-friendly personalities?
- Are you comfortable living in a city with messy surroundings?
- Will your pet adapt well to the city life?
- Are you easily disturbed by constantly loud surroundings?
- Can you walk long distances with no issues?
- Does taking public transportation virtually everywhere make you feel uneasy?
These are just some questions but important ones to consider when making such a decision. If the city life is right for you, here's hoping the transition is exciting and smooth for you.
If you don't think you're completely ready to live in the city or it's not right for you at all, no worries. Focus on which environment is the most suitable for you.
