Goodbye Urban Life, Hello Suburban Life

Many people thrive on a high-intensity environment such as a city. They're fueled by the energy generated from the constant hustle and bustle. This is the perfect setting for those who love to be on the move, with little idle time.

Naturally, not everyone thrives with this kind of energy. Others prefer a more relaxed pace. This does not necessarily mean they are lazy, but simply require a different kind of stimulation in their lives.
The suburban or countryside provides the right setting for this particular group of people for several reasons.

Affordability

Naturally, every homeowner has to be bear in mind the amount that will have to be spent on a home. Cities are notorious for their high home values. Fortunately, the suburbs - depending on the state, of course - has far lower prices, with much more room compared to city homes. According to studies, home values in cities increase 11.3% exponentially, almost twice as much as suburban homes, 6.7%.

Living Space

Suburban homes are known to have at least 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a kitchen, a living room, and a garage. Not only is there more space inside the home, but also outside the home - front yard, backyard, driveway. This amount of space is hard to come by in cities even for the lowest home values, which are still objectively high.

Relationship with Neighbors

Living in the city makes forming relationships with neighbors a bit difficult as the area is so heavily populated, and, based on the busy lifestyles of everyone there, you'll probably see them a few times a week. Suburban life, however, provides lots of opportunities to meet and chat with surrounding neighbors. Whether it's in the driveway, across the street or at the supermarket, you'll be sure to establish connections. A sense of community will definitely be felt.

Suburban life offers a different kind of peaceful living for particular individuals. It's not a question of which area is better, but more so, which area suits certain personality types better.
